In my 30 years as a federal prosecutor, I dealt with thousands of individuals involved in criminal conduct. Many were truly sorry for and embarrassed by their criminal conduct but happy to put their punishment behind them and move on as quickly as possible. My journey has been anything but linear. One decision took me from a successful attorney to federal prison, forcing me to confront how easily we can drift when pressure is high and clarity fades.
In a world defined by speed, urgency, and constant noise, I have come to believe that how we think and decide in those moments shapes everything.
I believe in radical honesty, especially when it’s uncomfortable, because clarity begins with truth. I believe in connection that cuts through isolation and builds real trust. I believe in courage that faces uncertainty and chooses aligned action. And I believe in growth as a daily practice of showing up with greater awareness, intention, and conviction.
